What IS COUNSELLING?

Counselling is also known as psychotherapy, talking therapy or just therapy. It is a confidential, safe and respectful environment where you can be free to express yourself without fear of judgement. I will listen to you to try and understand your experience of the world, you are the expert on you and together we can share our expertise to work together.

Counselling can help you reach a deeper understanding of yourself; your thoughts, feelings and actions. It can help you clarify your situation, and gain a new confidence and control in your life.
